I can't express how grateful I am to have found Zena at the African beauty salon. For so long, I struggled with damaged hair and felt lost when it came to caring for my curly locks. I never received the proper education on how to manage my hair until I met her. When I got my boho braids done, it was a transformative experience. I found Zena online a day before my appointment. She texted me late at night to ask for my needs and accommodated me on short notice which was really sweet and I appreciated that. I wanted to get knotless at first but she advised me that knotless wouldn’t be great for my short hair which was honest, so I went with box braids instead. It’s been 3 days since I had the hair done and I’ve received so many compliments and recommended people to her already. She’s respectful, professional and the salon is neat. I felt comfortable in there. The only complaints I have would be how tight my braids were when she was doing them which isn’t a bad thing but just letting you know. You can communicate that with her tho. I’ll definitely be going back for some more braids and more. Thank you Zena
